Wayside
Memorials
The
names on this page are names of people who committed their time, risked
their lives, and missed moments with their own families in order to
provide emergency care to the Wayside community. It is with great
pleasure that we, the members of Wayside Volunteer Fire Department,
honor and remember these people the duties they fulfilled, friendships
they held strong, and life they shared with us while they walked on
this earth. It is our hope and prayer that they fly with us as angels
as we attempt to follow in their footsteps in the brotherhood of firefighting.

In
Remembrance of September 11, 2001
Let
us not forget the many lives lost on September 11, 2001. A nation
pulled together and firefighters all over the country lowered their
heads as their hearts sank to the news of the tragedy in New York.
With many thoughts and prayers to the families, we remember the brave
men and women of the New York Fire Department who gave their lives
that day.
