Our
thoughts and prayers go out to Captain Lynn Nicholson, his wife, Angel,
and their daughters Raven and Maggie Joy.
Maggie
was born on February 22, 2008, with a severe heart condition called
Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. Maggie is currently at Duke Hospital
in Durham, NC, awaiting surgery.
Please
keep this family in your thoughts and prayers. If you would like to
make a donation in order to help the family with living expenses while
they stay with Maggie at Duke or with medical bills, please contact
Wayside Volunteer Fire Department at 704-872-9421 or Jenny Armstrong
at 704-902-4907.
A
fundraiser for the family is scheduled for April 26, 2008 from 12pm
to 7pm at the Iredell County Rescue Squad. Items are needed for a
silent auction and for door prizes. If you or anyone you know would
be willing to donate items or volunteer their time to help with the
fundraiser, please contact Jenny Armstrong at 704-902-4907.
